Project Manager

Atlantic is looking for experienced Project Managers in many of our projects throughout the country. We are especially looking for experienced people to work in our Salt Lake City locations and for additional future projects throughout our Western Region.


The successful candidate will have mastered the following skills and experience and/or education:


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus a minimum of five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience;

• Must have a broad background in project management in the scaffolding industry;

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Excellent judgment in resolving routine issues;
• Meets commitments;
• Always attentive to details;
• Must be organized;

The following are some of the duties and responsibilities which will be carried
out in successfully performing the job:

• Directs and supervises carpenters, carpenter helpers and laborers in the proper, timely and safe installation of scaffolding on the job site.
• Knows and applies all OSHA regulation relating to scaffolding.
• Direct and performs an efficient, timely and cost effective job set-up, erection and dismantle of scaffolding at job site; schedules and plans work for on-site staff.
• Communicates effectively with all crew members as well as the customer.
• Maintains a log of scaffolding during building, install and dismantling.
• Inspects employee safety equipment daily and maintains a log.
• Maintains daily sign-in sheet, time sheets and billing sheets on all on-site employees.
• Conducts daily and weekly safety meetings with on-site staff.
• Assists superintendent in recognizing and solving job site problems.

Construction Manager

Atlantic is looking for experienced Construction Managers to work in our Central Gulf Coast locations as well as in our expanding western region.

The successful candidates will have mastered the following skills and experience and/or education:

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus a minimum of two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Must have a broad background in construction management in the scaffolding industry;
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Excellent judgment in resolving routine issues;
• Meets commitments;
• Always attentive to details;
• Must be organized;

The following are some of the duties and responsibilities which will be carried
out in successfully performing the job:
• Evaluates specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction;
• Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, cost control, and other workers) at start of project.
• Orders procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specific times to work schedules.
• Manages supervisory personnel and other personnel to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
• Conducts construction activities within federal, state and local environmental and safety rules and regulations.
