Columbia, MD - Atlantic Industrial, Inc. announces the acquisition of North Atlantic Scaffolding Company (NASCO), a Portland, Maine based scaffolding services company. “The combination of NASCO and Atlantic positions us to expand our geographic footprint and establish a repeat customer base, along with the opportunity to offer bundled services,” states Steven Sisney, President and CEO of Atlantic Industrial.
The current NASCO headquarters in Portland, Maine will become a regional office within the Atlantic Scaffolding division. NASCO is a full service provider of scaffolding design, supervision, and erection services to primarily industrial clients across New England, New York, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Craig Kaple, President of Atlantic Scaffolding, stated, “Like Atlantic, NASCO has demonstrated a superior commitment to quality products and services, delivered in a timely, safe and professional manner”.
NASCO’s former owners, Ken Spenard and Ron Bourgoin, will remain in senior management roles in the company. “Ken and Ron will be a great fit with their management philosophy and dedication to safety, a main focus within our organization. Utilizing the best practices of both companies will provide even more opportunities in the future,” commented Pete Vrettakos, Executive Chairman of the Board for Atlantic Industrial.
