Columbia, MD - Atlantic Industrial, Inc. is ranked 238 in ENR’s (Engineering News Record) Top 600 Specialty Contractor Overview. The companies are ranked according to construction revenue in 2005 from specialty contracting in a prime or subcontracting capacity. “We have worked diligently to make this elite list and are proud of our prominent position,” states Pete Vrettakos, CEO/CHMN.
Atlantic was ranked 238 based on the total revenue and new contracts. This revenue is generated from the power market (5%) and the industrial process and petroleum market (95%). “Clearly we are on target to significantly move up in the rankings based on expected 2006 revenue,” says Tom Sinnott, CFO.
The ENR Top 600 overview shows an 11.7% increase in revenue based on 2005 results compared to 2004 and states, “the construction market in the U.S. has been on the upswing for two years, and there are few signs of the market slowing any time soon.” The detailed report and other additional information may be found at www.enr.com.
